I don't know about you, but the first thing that comes to my mind when hearing FIESTA are brightly colored Piñatas and my card was inspired by one. The easiest way to achieve this look is to use the super versatile Lulu Fringe Cutaway:
I die-cut Lulu Fringe from green, pink and orange cardstock and cut it into half. Then I adhered the strips to a panel of dark grey cardstock and adhered the panel to the card. Now I die-cut the word party from The Big, the Bold and Party Cutaways from the same colors I used for the fringes and layered them slightly off-set. After I had adhered the word to the card, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of grey cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, then I adhered the strip to the card. Finally I die-cut circles using Big Bang Confetti Cutaways and arranged them around the word die-cut. For more dimension, I fluffed up the fringe with my fingers.
I hope you liked today's inspiration. Thank you so much for stopping by today!
