>>>ANGEL'S PROJECTS<<<

Hi there and welcome back!

Today is day 2 of being in the Spotlight with Winnie & Walter. I had to pinch myself that I was given this opportunity yesterday and now I get it another day!

I have created a couple of tag sets for my project today. To create my tags, I used the tag die from the Essentials: Katharine Cutaways. It has been my new go-to tag these past few weeks. It is the perfect size.

My first set of tags can be used for any occasion to give to a friend. The flowers are from the The Party stamp set. They are all stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and then heat embossed with clear powder. Next I chose four different colors of distress inks to make a water color look. I also did a very light color on the background so the tag wasn't too white. For the sentiment, I pieced together some words from The Big, the Bold, and the Happy stamp set. I added a piece of chevron ribbon to the top to finish it off.

I am not one to usually go the elegant route when making a project as I usually go the cute and whimsical route. When you are surrounded by boys elegance is not the top of the list. These will be great to have for a gift or to just put on a card to give to a friend.

I went with typical birthday tags for my next project and these I kept pretty simple.

I used the same tag as the others but this time used the so cute balloons in The Party stamp set. I chose some colors that coordinated and would compliment each other. I stamped two solid balloons and then stamped the outline of the balloon and string in black. I covered the balloons with my Wink of Stella clear glitter marker and then glossy accents. The banner die cut is from the Essentials: Katharine Cutaways (I told you this set is amazing) and stamped the happy birthday sentiment in a coordinating color.

The same black chevron ribbon finished off these tags as well. It took everything I could not to add sequins to any of these tags but I didn't want to take away from the stamped images. Sequins are my weakness. You can see that weakness and all of my other projects at my blog here.

Thank you again for stopping by and to Julie and Shay for having me back again today. I have loved being in the spotlight and showcasing my love for Winnie & Walter products!

Have a great day!
